About Beecher Vet Clinic
Beecher Veterinary Clinic has been serving the town of Beecher, IL, since October of 1980. Dr. Daniel McKay graduated from the University of Illinois in 1976 receiving his doctor in Veterinary Medicine degree. He worked a few years under established veterinarians after school building his skill, eventually deciding to open his own practice.
We are dedicated to providing the best care to our patients along with friendly and compassionate service. We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own and giving them the same loving attention and care. We are a group of highly trained, experienced animal care givers.

Dr. Daniel E. McKay, D.V.M.
- Owner since 1980
- Graduated 1976 University of Illinois
Dr. Dan attended the University of Illinois and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1976. After working for a few established veterinarians, he decided to open Beecher Veterinary Clinic October of 1980. He enjoys spending time with his family and Pets.

Dr. Christie Taylor, D.V.M.
- Graduated 1989 University of Illinois
Dr. Christie attended the University of Illinois and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1989. She joined our practice in 1994, but in 2001 took a leave of absence for her family. Returning in 2014 to continue to care for our clients and pets. She enjoys breeding West Highland Terriers, and showing and breeding dairy goats with her daughters.

Dr. Jennifer Becvar, D.V.M.
- Graduated 2016 Michigan State University
Dr. Jen attended Michigan State Graduating in 2016, receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Jen was a veterinary technician for 6 years before deciding to continue her education to become a veterinarian. She is also a beekeeper since 2009 and enjoys spending her free time caring for her wide variety of farm animals.

Karie – Certified Veterinary Technician – Caring for your pet since 2006
Graduated Joliet Junior College in 2003, receiving a degree in Veterinary Technician. She enjoys camping and spending time with her family.
Melissa – Certified Veterinary Technician – Caring for your pet since 2005
Graduate of Fox College in 2008 receiving a degree in Veterinary Technician. She enjoys beekeeping and spending time with her family.
Stephanie – Certified veterinary Technician – Caring for your pet since 2010
Graduated Joliet Junior College in 2016, receiving a degree in Veterinary Technician. She enjoys horseback riding and Photography.
